THE BOYS
These 2 week old puppies are still pretty much oblivious to the fact that there is anything other than some nice warm mom's milk in their world.

They still don't do much more then crawl to mom to eat, or give an occasional cry to voice their displeasure over something. Their legs are getting stronger and you will see them attempting to stand up and walk. This endeavor is usually very short lived as the puppies quickly fall back down and sometimes tumble over in a comical flip. But don't worry puppies are tough and they just get back up and try again. At this young age, they still spend most of their time snuggling with their siblingsand sleeping - when mom is not around to let them nurse, that is. These attempts to stand up and walk are very tiring to the puppies and after eating with full tummies they are soon back to sleep. It won't be too long before they will succeed in staying up longer and actually get around much more steady on their feet. They have the cutest crys which range from a mild whine to a persistant yelp, yelp, yelp, yelp, similar to the crys of newborn baby alligator hatchlings calling out to their momma. Sometimes they cry while they are fast asleep. Anyone's guess why. As you can see in the pictures some of their eyes are opened almost all the way, while others are still partially closed. They will all be fully opened by 3 weeks of age.
