| DERBY has developed into a very handsome boy, with a wonderful disposition and temperament. Although he weighs almost 70 lbs., he is convinced that curling up in someones lap or cuddling next to the family's other dog Keebler at night is a most appropriate behavior. Derby displays a unique style only to himself - a combination of intelligence, and compassion, with a strong sense of curiosity mixed in. In addition to earning several agility titles, Derby stays active as the demo dog for the Pet First Aid and CPR classes his owner teaches. Derby will also be the Golden Retriever seen on the cover of A & P's new version of dog food later this year. He lives to learn and produces smiles everywhere he goes. Derby is a bundle of canine cheer and his offspring will exemplify the outstanding quality of this breed. |
