Brazin's puppies are all doing very well. I am
happy to see they are very good eaters.
In the morning, I think even my neighbors
can hear their loud protests, crying until I am
able to get the tray of softened food to them (A
little to young to learn that patience thingy).
As soon as I place their meal in the box, they
quickly make a mad dash over to the pan and
God help any puppy that gets in the way.
(Ok, so they will will have to learn that
courtesy thingy too). Immediately, the wailing
stops and no more sounds are heard until all
the tasty food is gone.
Poor Brazin, who usually waits outside the
box for the leftovers, most often finds there is
nothing left for her. She has gotten the short
end of the stick, so to speak, numerous times
already, because the pups scoff it all up, and
leave nothing for her to cleanup. But I usually
can surprise her with some of the leftover
tidbits that are still in the pot in the kitchen,
which I did not serve to the puppies.
Shortly after such a good meal, the contented
pups usually will take a nice snooze.
