| TIME TO EAT *Pups' first tastes of solid food, *Mom's doing cleanup detail while pups get a quick drink, and *a bird's eye view of their luxury apartment with all the amenities. |
| Well these plump little pooches have reached the half-way point on their quest to join their new permanent families. They have graduated from being just little adorable balls of fur to actual "puppies" who are now aware of their surroundings. They now realize they have good chew toys for their sharp baby teeth that recently erupted. Unfortunately, they confuse the real live toys (their siblings), with the furry fake stuffed animals and the recipient of this activity is none to happy when the "going gets to rough". But it is all part of growing up and this play is normal. They now are starting to respond to voices and will come when called, although quite hesitantly, as they have not totally mastered this walking thingy yet. They do have quite a bit more space to get around in, as their living quarters have opened up and they now dwell in a luxury 2 room apartment. One room is meant to be the sleeping /play/ dining room, while the other is for bathroom activities. But apparently nobody told them that because they freely switch rooms for whatever meets their fancy at the time. They have been introduced to solids now with a gruel of oatmeal and mushed puppy food. Boy, do they love it, and so does mom, as she gets to eat the leftovers. |
