Song: The More I See You
.

When someone walks in the room, all five of the puppies get so excited. They run over to the edge and yelp until someone, who
can't resist any longer, picks them up. Gone are the tiny newborns who could not walk, or hear, or see. They are now big
bundles of fur balls filled with energy. They love to kiss and squiggle in your arms and wag their tails profusely. They are also
starting to nip, because they are not only teething, but have also discovered that their mouth is a great play tool with their
brothers and sisters. Enjoy it now kids, because sooner then you like, you will be learning that that is a no-no.
Their personalities are starting to develop and it is interesting to see how they react differently to different situations. They are
having so much fun playing with each other and the many toys that are available. It is comical though, that no matter how
active they get during the day, they seem to frequently have a burst of energy at bedtime. They start running frantically around
the box and grab another's collar or foot to get them to play back. Usually after about 20 minutes of this activity, they get their
last drink of water for the night and conk out. Thank goodness, it is not too often anymore, that they wake up during the night
and start to howl.
They love drinking their water now. I put a few additives into it, but they don't even pay attention. Reilly is starting to
discourage them from nursing. She only allows them to nurse when she is too full of milk, which only happens a couple of times
a day. The other times they attempt to take a drink, she will give them a growl, to let them know she is off limits.
They have all grown so much, weighing in the 8 to 10 pound range. Their fur is filling in nicely too, so that they actually are
looking and acting like real golden retriever puppies.

The word is out that the pups are old enough to be played with, so the neighborhood kids frequently stop by to play with them. They have to make sure they cover their feet though because the puppies love to nibble on toes, and their teeth are very sharp.
