Scamper's puppies turned 6 weeks old, this past Tuesday. They are very, playful, active and full of energy. They stay asleep most of the night. It is not uncommon, however, for the Lot of them to awake around 11 pm. They will play and roughhouse with each other for about 20 minutes and then, totally pooped. fall back to sleep till the morning. They have become a very social bunch of puppies and are anxious to meet their new families to spread their joy and kisses to all. They experienced their first trip outdoors with a ride to the veterinarian's office. They were not one bit happy about the car ride and I don't mind saying, neither was I. My ears are still ringing from their loud and persistant protests during the ride there. They soon realized it was all worth it though, as everyone in the office just couldn't resist cuddling a pup. as they waited their turn with the doctor. It's not every day a litter of puppies makes an appearance at the vets so this was a real treat for everyone. The ride home was much quieter as I think they were exhausted from the whole ordeal. |
