| Scamper's puppies at 3 weeks old are starting to play with each other. They are walking and get so excited when mom comes in to feed them that they trip over each other trying to get to her first. There is a lot of competition you see, since although there are 11 pups, mom only has 8 available spots. So they know not to delay when she enters the box. Not to worry though, as I make sure they all get their fair share of milk either from mom or an occasional suppliment. They weigh about 3 pounds which is about 1/3 of what they will weigh when they go into their new homes. There teeth are coming in and they will be experiencing the taste of puppy food very shortly. Most of you have already figured out the theme of this litter by now, but here is a clue in case you (probably those from a younger generation) are stumped. What are gold icons you see spinning around? |
