As week 7 approaches there is a lot to be done before they
leave to go with their new families.
The pup's busy schedule all started on Friday , March
22nd., when they had to be up, cleaned, and fed at the crack
of dawn in order for me get Nantucket to the NBC studios in
time for a segment on the cost of pet ownership. He was
thrilled because he was passed and petted by all the people on
the set, while waiting for the segment to start. He could
not resist responding by giving loads of kisses to whomever was
nearby. By the time they started the filming he was pooped,
and decided to just take a nap in Jean Chatzky's arm while she
did her report. How cute!
On Wednesday all the pups met one of my friends Pat who
came over to perform the PAT aptitude test on the litter.
Although they were actually being tested, to them, they were
just playing with my friend. What fun. Whenever I ask Pat
to come over to do this she gladly obliges. She said it gives
her a chance to get her "puppy fix".
Thursday was Vet day and although they loved getting to
meet the office staff, they were none too keen about the long
ride in the car to get there and back and didn't hesitate to let
me know.
Their time here will end with a nice warm bath by my husband
and me to get them all "prettied up" for their new families.
