Early Tuesday was a very
special day for Brazin. First
off itwas her 7th birthday.

Having approached her due date, it also became apparent that
this was the day she was going to deliver her puppies. I
called my friend Lori, shortly after midnight to come over and
help with the deliveries. The pups started arriving shortly after
1 AM and everything continued in the process as expected.

pups, which is what she normally has based on her previous

took the puppies' newborn pictures, and my friend went home. While finishing up getting Brazin settled with the pups
she started contracting again and in about a minute give birth to puppy number 9. What a surprise! I cleaned her and the
whelping box again with clean bedding and headed upstairs to get some sleep. Newborn puppies can accidentally get laid on
by the mother and need to be watched, so I my husband Al had puppy detail. He gets very nervous, and was constantly
counting to make sure all were OK. " 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 good all there" Then a few minutes later. "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 - Wait
where is number 9? Oh, there you are, ok, 9 good" And so on. Suddenly, he noticed Brazin vigorously licking puppy.

Little Indians, and thought what a great theme name. Each puppy is named to honor a Native American Tribe.
